Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using this website ("Azimuth").

Scope

These Terms and Conditions set out the regulations governing the use of Azimuth and all the information (“Info”), offers and searches (“Posts”) by those who may choose to access Azimuth (“Visitors”), including registered users (“Users”), as well as the corresponding relationship between Visitors and the Europe Region WAGGGS, Registered Charity No. 1159255 (England & Wales) and the European Scout Region of WOSM, an Association registered in Geneva, Switzerland (WAGGGS and WOSM entities are henceforth jointly referred to as “Europe Region”).

The Europe Region maintains Azimuth as a courtesy to Visitors and its member organisations (“MOs”). The information presented herein and functionality offered by it is for purposes of furthering the exchange between Scouts and Guides across Europe.

Connected Documents

The following documents (“Connected Documents”) form an integral part of these Terms and Conditions and are fully applicable when visiting and using Azimuth:

If any inconsistencies should arise between the different legal documents, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

Language Versions

These Terms and Conditions and all Connected Documents are originally drafted in English and have thereafter been translated into other languages by the respective member organisations (“MOs”). In the event that any translated version of these Terms and Conditions and Connected Documents conflict with the English version, the English version shall prevail.

Acceptance

Upon visiting Azimuth, the Visitors agree that they have read, understood, accepted, agreed and will continually abide by these Terms and Conditions without any reservation. Consent is deemed issued when Azimuth is accessed.

The Europe Region reserves the right to amend, replace and modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Therefore the Europe Region strongly recommends Visitors to consult these Terms and Conditions upon each visit to Azimuth. For your convenience, the date and version number of the current version are mentioned above.

In relation to the use of individual services, the Europe Region may ask Visitors to issue their consent again by clicking on a corresponding confirmation field or tick box and/or to consent to additional terms and conditions.

Website

The Europe Region administers Azimuth. All Info and Posts on Azimuth from the Europe Region are subject to the present Terms and Conditions.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the content of Info and Posts on Azimuth is provided by Visitors registered to Azimuth or its administrators (“Admins”) and does not necessarily represent the views of WOSM or its Member Organizations.

Neither WAGGGS or WOSM, nor the Europe Region, or its respective boards are implied in any relationship or transaction established between Visitors and/or Admins through the use of Azimuth.

Reservation of Rights

The Europe Region reserves its exclusive right in its sole discretion to alter, limit or discontinue Azimuth including all its Info and Posts in any respect.

The Europe Region reserves the right to deny in its sole discretion any User (as defined in the Additional Terms for User Accounts) access to services, tools, forums and applications provided by Azimuth or any portion thereof without notice.

No waiver by the Europe Region of any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be binding except as set forth in writing and signed by its duly representative.

Disclaimer: Content

The majority of the content on Azimuth is generated by registered Users and Admins. This content is subject to the specific terms on user generated content as provided in the Additional Terms for User Accounts.

Disclaimer: Access, functionality and malware

The Europe region cannot guarantee that Azimuth is accessible at all times, in all parts of the World and in a flawless, uninterrupted way. The Europe Region cannot guarantee that Azimuth will be fully functional and has no flaws whatsoever; Azimuth, its applications and all services provided thereon are provided “as is”. The Europe Region cannot guarantee that Azimuth is completely free of any viruses, Trojan horses, phishing, hacking and/or cracking utilities and other malware. You are responsible for installing appropriate software to protect your end-user devices.

The content may provide hypertext links to a number of external sites, provided by the Europe Region, Users, or Admins. The Europe Region does not accept responsibility for any content and material on these external sites.

Visitors who click on these links are responsible for the downloading of any linked material and/or any fees or charges incurred in connection with such activities. Downloading of images and/or text without the permission of the copyright owner may breach international copyright laws.

Disclaimer: Damage through use

The Europe Region will have no responsibility or liability in relation to any direct or indirect loss or damage incurred by the Visitors, including damage to their software or hardware, arising from their use of or access to Azimuth.

Copyright

In general, the Europe Regions grants permission to Visitors to visit Azimuth, and download and copy its textual Info but does not grant permission to download and copy User Generated Content from Posts or User profiles from Azimuth for anything but the Visitor’s personal use, without any right to resell or redistribute it whatsoever

Trademark

All trademarks, brand names, product names and titles and copyrights used in Azimuth are trademarks, brand names or copyrights of their respective holders. They are both worldwide well-known marks and registered trademarks in a large range of jurisdictions. They are protected by national and international law through Intellectual Property Protection Treaties and must not be used or reproduced without express permission.

Applicable Law & Competent Court

The law of the Swiss Canton of Geneva shall apply exclusively to these Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising under or in connection with the relationship between the Europe Region and the Visitors.

In case of litigation with regard to the present Terms and Conditions or the use of Azimuth, the Courts of Geneva (Switzerland) will be exclusively competent.
